History of Mathematics
It was interesting to find out that the earl humans used clay to count, i didn't know that. Also I am surprised on how much work it took for cultures to calculate and the many steps they took to do one simple division problem. I really like the part where the roman numerals were explain and the abacus because i didn't know how to read them or use them. If none of these civilizations thought of ways to complete this whole math and trading thing, we would be really far back in what we know... Also, I was very interested the whole 7 minutes :). I guess i learned some new things today in math!

What color is math?
If math could be a color, it would be black because, all the colors of the rainbow mixed together make a dark color like black. To me every subset of math is a color and all mixed together is black. Just like people, we are all different color and we make up one single species and that's kind of how I see math, in some ways. This is how I see math in a more dramatical way. I know some people might say black, "but math is my favorite subject it should be my favorite color" or "I hate math so its the color I like the least", but math and me have a mutual relationship, I don't hate it or love it just like black, i don't hate it or love it.

The world would be a better place without mathematics.
I disagree with this statement because the world wouldn't be as advanced as it is now. If we think about it, everything we do, starting from the moment we wake up to the moment before we all go to bed we use math. We wouldn't have all the technology such as medical machinery, roller coasters, iPods, t.vs and calculators because inventing these things takes math to measure and do. We wouldn't have these buildings, bridges, trains, or airplanes because we wouldn't know how to construct them without proper measurements because the world doesn't have math. A simpler way without math would be not knowing how to add, subtract, use fractions, make food taste right, make clothing fit, wear proper shoes. Most important, we wouldn't be able to use money, we'd still be trading our belongings. We would also be late for everything and we wouldn't know when to meet at what time or get early to important meetings. As some of my followers just finished reading on this math blog, the main point im trying to give out is that the world would be a horrible place without math.
